Il mio cuore povero duole, certo potrebbe essere la bevanda alcoolica, o potrei giusto รจ affranto.
So, I haven't done a whole lot today. Just kind of puttered around. I made some papier mache easter eggs and filled a few today. They are pretty nifty. What we did was take some baloons and blew them up, then we took some flour, about 1 cup, and water, about 5 cups and brought it to a boil. Then we let it cool a bit and added a few table spoons of bleach (to prevent mildew and mold). Then we took some old newpaper (torn in 1" x about 8" strips) and dunked it into the paste and wraped it around the balloons until there was a thin layer covering most of the surface. Then we let it dry til the next day and added another layer, being sure not to cover the tippy-top of the balloon. Again, we let it dry overnight. Then, we popped and removed the balloons and used that hole to fill the new paper mache egg with assorted easter treats. Next, use a few more layers of paper mache to cover the hole, dry over night and paint or decorate the next day. It was great fun for Bree.
I am now making a paper mache toy box...I'll let you know how it turns out.
